The Outdoor Classroom

What is it? The Outdoor Classroom is an initiative to use the FAI Farm at Wytham as a learning resource for a wide range of activities and ideas from animal behaviour and welfare to human health and the environment.

At the Outdoor Classroom we believe it is important for children to become aware of the issues surrounding the production of their food, the rural environment and what farming the land is all about. We provide schools and other groups an opportunity to visit the Farm (for free!), to experience a real live farm, to learn and to be involved in agriculture.
