Pigs
Traditional pig breeds, in this case The Gloucester Old Spot, have been incorporated into our herd to produce enhanced meat quality and flavour.

Our sows are housed in groups of five, which self-select their own farrowing ark. Piglets are weaned at six to eight weeks of age and each group is kept together throughout the entire finishing period. Piglets are neither tooth clipped nor tail docked, a ‘standard’ agricultural practice, but by keeping them in a more natural environment and providing them with a diet of both forage and grain, they are able to exhibit normal pig behaviour, keep busy and have less of an urge to compete with each other.
